Fri, March 16, 2007 - 9:22 AMI am really glad it's going better for you and you are sleeping deeper! I am still struggling some with sleep issues not necessarily connected with the CPAP. I got my sleep study reports to look at for the first time yesterday and discovered in both sleep study nights I did not go into stage 3 or part of stage 4 sleep. I did get to stage 4 REM sleep with the CPAP but not the alpha part of stage 4.
I still do not know exactly what all of this means so I need to do some research on sleep stages.

not having to get up to..hmm use the ladies as much..
still having to get up at least once though..
they never told me about my stages..just told me I had apnea bad..normal wakes is from 0-5 and I had 85 per hour..
frig..and I never knew... though I do remember waking once because I was not breathing..I caught it once..
keep going ...little by little.. try not to get discouraged.. hey still If I feel like whippin that mask off..at 2 I do ..but than if I wake around 4..I put it back on.. I do seem to sleep deeper..with it on -

Sat, March 17, 2007 - 10:04 AMThe doc didn't tell me the details of my sleep study report --- just that I need to try the CPAP. So last week I called his nurse and asked if she'd make me copies of both sleep study reports and picked them up. I am glad I did. It was interesting reading lol. And it gave me more details.
