Re: New product made by a CPAP user-has anyone used it?
Sun, September 30, 2007 - 6:10 PMLei,
Thank you for this post! While I've been successful using my CPAP every night lately I haven't been getting the quality of sleep that I had when I first started using my CPAP. Some additional medical and pain issues have cropped up and I just can't get comfortable enough for deep sleep to occur. And, of course, my ResMed Elite7 CPAP with Humidaire is quite emphatic on the instructions that NOTHING be used in the humidifier except distilled water.
I went to the link you provided and was really impressed with what I read. While I am worried about possible sensitivities and allergies to some oils (rose oil makes my throat close up), I am now seriously considering buying this product and giving it a try.
I'll let you know if I do and how it works (or doesn't).
Thanks!
Leah

I know nothing about it...in reality
but I think...that.. breathing in chemicals of anysort..is a good thing to do ..every night..
I have bad breathing issues...and the cause was chemicals..I soldered for 28 years..without a mask
and the flux fumes..cooked me!
so ...my lungs are very sensitive..to any chemicals...
but it has given me an awareness that...breathing things into your lungs...except air and moisture...should be measured very carefully.. -

Fri, October 26, 2007 - 7:23 PMI have tried putting Bach flower essence in the humidifer, but it is still too strong. So yes the scented air coming in through the intake might be just enough... but I agree with you both that it could be dangerous. -

Sat, October 27, 2007 - 3:38 PMOn further personal consideration about my chemical sensitivities and allergies, I have decided against purchasing this product. Nice thought though.
