sleep study last night

From one point of view, everything went well. With the help of my anti-anxiety pill, I slept for about 3 hours right away, then I woke up and was trying to change sides when the technician came in about something or another so I decided to go to the bathroom, which I was going to need soon, After that I had trouble going asleep again because all the wires kept me from moving freely so I sneaked in another lorazepam and fall asleep for about another hour and was awakened by a loud noise and pretty soon the time was up.

In a sense it was an anti-climax and I didn't get an opportunity to display all my problems, especially those that occur late in my sleep. I haven't a clue what the results were. I hope it shows something! I asked the doctor at my consultation to send me the results at the same time that he sends them to my doctor and I thought that he agreed but we'll see. I want a chance to digest the results before I talk to the doctor next. That appointment is on June 26, 2 weeks from yesterday and I can hardly wait!

My blood pressure has become very erratic and 2 weeks ago I wore a 24-hour BP monitor for which I get the results tomorrow. And I think that will be very interesting.

Any way, I behaved my self and got through whatever was necessary.

Woo hoo, Frances! I prayed for you last night as I was hooking myself up! I am really glad you got through it and it was not as awful (or even nearly as awful) as your first time. It's no fun, that's for sure.

What a relief that must be! Congrats on getting through it and getting it into the rear-view mirror!

Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!You made it through! I wouldn't fret too much about the lack of a full night's sleep you had for the study. I remember that I felt I had hardly slept at all but they got a lot of data from the few cycles I did get in. You can also tell your ENT about some of the issues that come up only late in a typical night of sleep when you meeet up again to go over your results.

    For now...CONGRATS!
