...to everyone on this tribe. Whatever your observance (or non-observance) might be, my wish is that everyone has a fine week. Thank you all for your openness and warm support - this tribe definitely has helped me feel more confident and affirmed about dealing with my apnea.

Sincerely,
MC

Happy Holidays to you as well and to everyone who reads and doesn't post. I get a lot from this forum as well and I am grateful that it is here. Thank you to all of you for making this tribe group and for being there for me and the others who are dealing with apnea.

    Ho Ho Ho
May next year find us all well oxygenated and without water droplets on our cheeks

      Hey all!

I've been a little of out touch the last few days because we had a "blessed event"!!! We adopted a new puppy named Maddie (short for Madeline). She's a 10 month old purebred Great Dane pup that we got from a rescue. She is all legs, but as sweet as honey! She is a blue merle which are not shown, but are used for breeding stock. She was purchased from a breeder but the new owners did not get her vaccinated and she developed parvo, a deadly virus. The rescue group found her, treated her and brought her back to her wonderful glory. Her temperament is true Great Dane - a total sweetheart! We are over the moon with her. The other dogs, Pepper (our alpha Lab/Pit mix) and Zeke (our Great Dane/Mastiff mix) have accepted her very well. Zeke fell head over heels in love with her initially, but now he's a little tired of her puppy antics. While she is actually slightly taller than Zeke, he is much more filled out than she is, and has us realizing what a truly huge dog he is! He weighs 160, but that's relative, right?!

Anyhow, I wanted to share our good fortune and blessings with you, and wish you all the same. Happy holidays!

Hugs to my dear "hosed-faced" friends!

Congrats on the new 'little one' in your household! Yay for curing the parvo and yay for rescue groups who take the time to save the unsalvagable! So glad he found a happy home with you.

What a lovely holiday gift for him and for your family!

        Pam
