How much glue, you ask, CAN a person put on a mask before it loses its effectiveness? I don't know, but I am working on the solution!

I called my DME and they told me that I had to get a new supplier because my insurance changed and they don't do HMOs. I was furious - not so much that I was dismissed (rather rudely) but that I had called them two weeks prior and asked. They were going to check into it and call me right back...GRrrrrrrrr. They were very interested in working with me when they could make a bunch of money off me, but wouldn't give me the courtesy of a call back once they found out that I had an HMO. Rats.

I've been kind of quiet on this one because quite frankly, if I respond it will be about 90% profanity (against health care - not Darla).

I hear ya, MC, and wouldn't take it personally!!!

As long as my glue gun (and glue supply) holds out, I'll be okay! I really shouldn't complain and should fill my heart with gratitude that these machines exist and that I am able to use one - there are many in our world who would LOVE to complain about having any kind of health care, because they don't. All of the folks who are not able to get to a doctor with OSA or any of the apneas - can you imagine what their lives are like? And I am bitching because I need to do a little repair on my mask. I need to work on my gratitude!
